Dear Barbara and family, Please accept my deep sympathy in this time of your great loss. I was privileged to meet Pat and Barbara through attending many Literary Symposiums over the years. I have always valued the experience and knowledge which Pat brought to our gatherings and his great sense of humour. He was a genial host, when he and Barbara invited us to their comfortable home and spectacular garden to enjoy summer barbeques. Pat was a tremendously talented artist, respected for his beautiful paintings. He encouraged the talents of others and I will always remember his kind praise and support for me in the publication of my book. I am sure that I join a very large number of people who will always hold Pat in fond memory. Marie (Groundwater) Pottle.

I have wonderful memories of all the times we got together in Montreal and my visits to Pat and Barb in Windsor. They were really good friends to me. Family was everything to Pat and nothing made him happier than to arrange camping trips with all the family. He will always be remembered by so many friends for his kindness, generosity and sense of humour and his outlook on life. My sincere condolences to Barb and all their family.

I am so sorry hear of my brother Patrick’s passing. Patrick, Barbara, and family were so genuinely welcoming to me. Talking to Patrick over these past few years I got to know him as a wonderful caring man and a devoted father and grandfather. I am proud to have known him and so grateful to have found him.
