Obituary of Samayjeet Singh Chawla
Samayjeet ‘Samay’ Singh Chawla,
born on 13th November 1998, left this world far too soon on 28th September 2024. In his short 26 years, Samay made a profound impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beacon of light, touching lives with his kindness, warmth and love. Known for his unwavering principles, Samay lived life with purpose and joy, embracing every moment and excelling in all that he set his mind to. A lover of football, music, travelling and fashion. His love for life extended beyond the playing field. Samay is also a passionate beatboxer, whose rhythm and beats have now given life to others, a beautiful testament to his generosity and spirit. He is selfless, compassionate, deeply caring and his heart is beating in all of our hearts. Through his act of GIVING, Samay continues to live on in the hearts and lives of many others, a blessing that only a truly special one is able to achieve. Samay's professional journey is as impressive as his personal one. The youngest in the family to work and travel across many countries. Tall, smart and active in outdoor pursuits, Samay lived with a vitality that seemed unshakable. Despite challenges, he remained strong always, embodying the spirit of a true warrior. Leaving a deep dent in the family, his permanent abode however as a divine ‘Waheguru’s Bachha’ makes his family and friends extremely proud of him and his life. In a brief journey in this world, Samay imparted valuable lessons on love, strength, acceptance and spirituality, reminding us of the importance of living fully and selflessly…. As we grieve, we take solace in the fact that Samay's spirit lives on—not just in the memories we hold dear, but in the lives he saved, the hearts he touched, and the lessons he taught. His journey in this world may have ended, but his legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue FOREVER, with Lok Parlok Suhele. Samayjeet, you are a Beautiful, Pure, Happy, Divine Soul and in perfectly good health, always safe and protected in the almighty’s protective shield and remain forever in Waheguru’s charan kanwal….
