Passed away suddenly on September 16, 2024 Predeceased by her late husband Michel Akel (1986) and her late daughter Sozan Boughner (Sept 8, 2024). Loving mother of Sameer Akel, Fr. Peter (Edmund) (Nabiha "Nina" Hayek) Ackle, and Edward (Laura Haley) Akel. Dear Mother-in-law of Jeff Boughner. Loving Tete of Alma, Mirell, Emily, Janette, and Ileny. Loving sister of Takla, Khalil,Yevounne, and Samira. She will be greatly missed by many nephews, neices, cousins family and friends.

Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL-Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7235 on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 6 to 9pm. Prayers Thursday at 7:30pm. Funeral services on Friday September 20, 2024 at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church 1808 Labelle Street Windsor ON.at 11:00am. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
