Dear Aunt Glad…with special love from your English cousins, we just wanted to say how deeply saddened we are to hear you are no longer with us. We’ll miss you so much, but we also know it was your time and you are at peace now, but you’ll be remembered so fondly…always! We met up with each other on too few occasions over the years - we would have loved to have spent more time getting to know you, your lovely sisters and our wider family in Canada and the States but the distances between us all has made it difficult. But what would we have done without those wonderful and oh, so valuable ‘SMITH REUNIONS’ we have enjoyed over the years? Without those, we wouldn’t have got to know each other at all. Gladys, we will remember your good-hearted feisty and fun nature, your kindness and most of all your wonderful smile! And we will always remember you with a smile too!
