MAHAITS, Lana (nee Portt)

81 years.  Passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024. Beloved wife of Hubert (Hub) Dube for 19 years.  Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Mahaits (1994).  Loving mother of Cathie and husband Mark Ives.  Dear Nana to Amy and Zachery (Kai).  Great Nana to Rocco.  Will be sadly missed by Denis (Kaity) Dube and his family John and Tina.  Dear sister to Roger (Pat) Portt and the late Alvin (Frieda) Portt and Robert Portt. Will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Lana was proud to be a Hotel Dieu Nursing Grad.  Longstanding and active member of Corpus Christi Church.  Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:30 am.  Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.  Donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences and memories can be shared online at www.windsorchapel.com
