Obituary of Jerry Peck

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Jerry Peck at the age of 80, on August 7, 2024. Beloved husband to Elaine Peck for 52 years and devoted dad to Daniel (Paula), Jessica (Andrew), and Michael. Cherished grandpa to Nicholas, Jack, and Everleigh. Reunited with his parents, Percy and Rhea, and brothers, Reg and Jack. Survived by brother and sisters, Ron, Betty, and Joanne. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jerry faithfully walked in fellowship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He greatly enjoyed his teaching career for over 30 years and impacted the lives of many students. He was well known in his community, especially for his coaching in softball where he led his teams to victory. Jerry was an avid golfer and looked forward to playing in his HI-Drivers Golf League. He loved  playing hockey and always cheered for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Traveling became a great pastime for Jerry and his wife as well as the Saturday night euchre games. He adored all of his dogs but most of all Jerry loved spending time with his grandchildren who were the joy of his life. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234) on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
