Mrs. Taylor was a long-time customer at the Zehrs in St. Clair Beach, and was always a joy to talk to and help out! Very nice, generous and classy woman who will be sorely missed. I hadn't seen her in a while, and I feared that she may be sick or had passed away. I'm very sorry to hear of her loss, but I know she lived a very long, rich life, and it was a pleasure to have known her, and served her at the store. God bless, Mrs. Taylor, may you rest in peace.

My condoleances to the family. I met Tante Greta only one or two times, when I was a child…but I will never forget those days we had together in my family home in Germany. Tante Greta was the cousin to my grandmother Theresia Weintz. When Tante Greta and Onkel Frank came into the house there was a kind of glamour in the air! We laught a lot with them, and my Oma was so happy to have her beloved cousin for some days. I will never forget Tante Greta! Sabine Weintz/France

Finally Greta has been freed from the bondage that held her back from what we are sure would be a beautiful reunion with the love of her life and her children that have gone before her. You are all grieving in your own way - but knowing her struggles to come to Canada and to lose her husband and then three sons - I hope the grandchildren will inherit her strength and resilience, some of her flare for fashion and her beautiful smile. We and Kitchener will miss the impromptu visits, your smile and your classy self. Rest in peace in the arms of the loved ones who have been waiting for you Greta. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother. Mrs. Taylor, as I knew her, was a very special lady, so caring, always smiling and very welcoming. I see Mrs. Taylor weekly at the 6 PM Saturday evening Masses at Ste. Anne in Tecumseh. My husband & I attended weekly and I would see her smiling face lighting up the back pew, I would take a moment to go back and greet her because I knew she would share something special that would brighten my spirits. I was never wrong, she always was a shining star. When my husband died suddenly, Mrs. Taylor was very caring. Shortly after his passing my health took a downward turn and I was unable to attend Mass or leave my home. Then the pandemic hit and no one was attending Mass. I lost track of Mrs. Taylor during these years but I have thought a great deal of Mrs. Taylor and wondered how she was and if she had gone to the loving arms of our Lord.
