Obituary of Joseph Palamides
Palamides, Joseph “$50 Joe”
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 1st, 2024 at the age of 70 years old.
Loving husband of 41 years to Cathy. Devoted father to Shannon Palamides, Mark Palamides and Rachel (Chris) Paquette. Beloved “Nonno Yo” to Grayson and Hunter. Dear brother to Noella and Ron (2016) Truant, Dennis (2013) and Deirdre Palamides and April (2008) and Jim MacKinnon. Reunited with his parents Gus (2005) and Velma (1992) and father and mother-in-law Denis (1961) and Ethel (1988) Mallen. Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He loved his family, and was always very proud of them.
Joe started his career with Crescent Tool & Die as an Apprentice and went on to become a Toolmaker/Leader and later a CNC Operator. He retired as a Die Designer from The Electromac Group.
He was a longtime member of the Caboto Club and the South Windsor Knights of Columbus.
Thank you to Dr. D. Ziter for his dedicated care of Joe over the years. We also extend our gratitude to the ICU staff at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus for their compassion and support.

As per Joseph's wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in Joseph's memory may be made to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. Memorial visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel South (3048 Dougall Avenue) on August 6th, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. A memorial service will be held on August 7th, 2024 at 11am at Windsor Chapel South (3048 Dougall Avenue). Condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com.
