Obituary of Siegfried Schafer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Siegfried “Ziggy” Schafer at the age of 78. Dear son of Katherine and the late John Schafer. Loving father to Duane (Nadean) and Bret (Kat). Caring grandfather to Evan and Blake. He will be deeply missed by many cousins, friends, and extended family. Ziggy was a business owner and an avid golfer. He enjoyed his second home in Fort Lauderdale, and spending time with his family and friends. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234) on Tuesday July 23rd 2024 from 4pm-7pm. As per Ziggy's wishes, cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice.
