Obituary of Anna Holic

Passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 10, 2024, at the age of 90, with family by her side. Anna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family. Beloved wife of Jozef for 71 happy years. Dear mother (“ma”) of Ann Dudok and her husband Mark, and the late Kathy Holic. Babka was cherished by her granddaughters Jenny, Stephanie, and Karla (Kyle), and her great-grandchildren Cameron, Grayson and Ellie. Anna will also be missed by extended family and friends in Canada and Europe. Anna was predeceased by her parents Stefan and Katarina Moric, and sister Katarina Leporis.

Anna and Jozef were the truest of soulmates. Together, they immigrated to Canada in 1970 from former Yugoslavia. Over the decades, they worked side-by-side in numerous businesses within their community. Anna was devoted to her Christian faith and church. She cared for others by frequently hosting in her home and preparing beautiful meals. Anna will live on in our hearts and memories.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.), 519-253-7234 on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 2pm-4pm and 5pm-8pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, July 15 from 10am until the Time of Service in the Chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
