Obituary of Andre Lavigne

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 79 on July 7, 2024. Cherished father of Denis (Jacqueline) and Sylvie Slobodnick, and friend to their mother Paula Lavigne. Proud grandpapa Elliot and Cameron Lavigne, Adam and Owen Slobodnick. Loving companion of Marielle Bergeron. Dear brother of Denise Hupé (Robert), Hélène Lavigne, Marcial Lavigne (Suzanne), Rachel Lavigne (Robert), and late Ginette Labelle (François). Predeceased by his parents Albert and Jean D’Arc Lavigne. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

André retired from Chrysler after 30 years of dedicated service. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing pool, riding his e-bike and going for walks. He will be missed by the many residents of La Residence Richelieu.

At André’s request, cremation and a private family service has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (519-253-7235).
