We grew up next door to the Dufour's. Mrs Dufour is all we called her because we respected her. We were blessed to have them has neighbors. She really was like our second Mother. How do you condense a life time of memories of this extraordinary woman in a paragraph! So I will try, I remember barebfeet, riding the lawn tractor, her gardening in that huge garden, her enjoying a Coca-Cola, the best popcorn balls and donuts you ever ate!!! Watching over all of us. Her abundance of generousity, her devotion to her family, her letting you know when you crossed the line. If you wanted to know anything going on in the neighborhood, she knew! When our brother died she was there, made all the food and gave us support to carry on. It didn't go unnoticed, it meant everything, we loved her and we love her family. They took us boating and camping, they are our hero's. You can't replace someone like her. You can only be thankful she graced your life. She was loving, caring, strong, kind, unwavering in her beliefs, a fearse card player, ( My Mom has awesome stories of euchre nights with both Betty and Gordon ), she loved you unconditionally. That is priceless, she was priceless!!!! We will always love her and she will be deeply missed by all of us! Our lives will never be the same.
