Obituary of Lionel Gerard Rivait

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Lionel on Friday, June 28th, 2024 at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his devoted spouse Dolores Rivait (Nee Sylvestre) and his cherished sons Michael, Marc (Carol), and Alan Rivait. Adored Pépé to Kristina, Justin, and Nicole. Loving brother to Ronald (Carolyn) Rivait, and predeceased by his sisters Anita Mailloux and Anna Mae Vink.

Lionel was employed with Ford Motor Company for 41 years. Upon retirement he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed, but remembered in our hearts forever, may he rest in peace.

Donations in Lionel’s memory may be made to Emara Health Centre.

Funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E.) on Friday, July 5th, 2024 at 11am. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (519-253-7235). To express condolences and memories to Lionel’s family, please refer to the online guest book.
