Obituary of Bette Hopson

Bette Hopson (nee Huckle) passed away peacefully, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 77 on June 24, 2024. Reunited with her beloved husband Joe (pre-deceased 2007). Cherished mother of Debbie (pre-deceased 2019), Cindy-Lou and son-in-law Brain Meloche (pre-deceased 2022), Michael (pre-deceased 1971), Joe Jr. and daughter-in-law Amy, Athena and son-in-law Mike. Proud grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 11 and great-great grandmother of one. Dear sister of Alberta (pre-deceased 2007), Sylvia, Preston, Patricia, and Nancy. She will be forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. A treasured friend to all who knew her. The most important aspect of Bette’s life was to love, cherish and care for her family. She enjoyed celebrating all holidays and special occasions, gathering and enjoyment with family. At Bette’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (519-253-7235). A Celebration of Life will take place at Rockstar Music Hall (2418 Central Ave.) on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 4 - 8 pm. Gather, celebrate and remember the happy life of Bette with the family for a late luncheon and a chance to share all your favourite stories of Bette. All are welcome!
