Obituary of Karen Hollowell (Tripp)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 13, 2024, at the age of 62. Beloved wife of 40 years to David. Cherished mother of Stefanie (Kyle) and William (Tabitha). Proud Grandma of Matthew, Brynn and Tripp. Dear sister of Kathy Menard and Grant Tripp and sister-in-law to Diane (Rob) and Janice (David). Loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews and Auntie K to her great nieces and nephews. Reunited with her parents Jackson and Jean Tripp and her siblings Glenn, Robert, Sally and Greg.

Karen enjoyed everything about life and lived every moment to the fullest. She put love and devotion into everything she did - her career as a massage therapist, her gorgeous gardens, and most importantly, her many friendships and her family.

She loved good food, great music, RuPaul and she never turned down the chance to dance. She was always the loudest and most friendly person in a room - she will forever be missed and her absence never unnoticed.

The family would like to thank their family and friends for their continued loved and support while we've had to let go of our warrior. They would also like to thank the staff at the WRH - Cancer Centre, especially Jenny from VON for their dedicated care and compassion.

At Karen’s request, cremation and a private family service have taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
