Obituary of James A.S Fazekas

Born August 8, 1929, in Stockholm, Saskatchewan. Passed June 9, 2024.

Loving and devoted husband of 72 years to Stella (Lavergne). Cherished father of Jim (Paulette), Kim and Michael. Proud Pip of 5 grandchildren and their spouses. Proud Great Pip of 14 great grandchildren. Jim was the son of the late Blaise and Mary Fazekas and brother to his late siblings Elizabeth, Mary, Rose, Andy and Joe.

Jim enjoyed being a brother in -law and uncle to many. Always a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He will be forever missed. Jim was a lifetime member of KofC 4386 and retired from the Chrysler Corporation, member of CAW LU 444. Many thanks to Oak Park LaSalle and all of Jim’s caregivers.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart, 2153 Parkwood Ave, on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11am, with cremation to follow.
