Obituary of Edward Bachynski

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Eddie on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 69 years. Cherished father to Ted (Lori), Sherry, Terry (Laura), Cathy (Mark), Laurie (Karen). Adored by grandchildren Bryce (Kyla), Amy (Ari), Sadie (Chad), Derek (Felicia), Tara (George), Craig (Melissa), Brent, Jared (Servane), Darren (Jenny), Emily (Jeff), Lana (Jeff), Dustin (Marisa), and Hayden (Madison). Proud great grandfather to Blake, Stella, Adrian, Addison, Eliza, Isaac, Zoe, Crew, Ava, Adam, Kate, Elise, Marcella, Myro, Ilya, Leo, Otto, Marcel, Remi, Roman, Maxim, and Daisy.

Predeceased by his sister Helen Mark and brother John Bachynski.

Eddie was a family-oriented man, and always put them first. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed many rounds of golf with his friends as an active member of Beach Grove for over 40 years. He believed in an honest day’s work and led by example. With his devotion and skill, he built his own company, Bachynski Builders Ltd. and was proud of his work. As a highly respected member in the community, he will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd) on Friday, May 31st, 2024 from 9:30am-11am. Mass will be held at 11am, with cremation to follow.
