I was saddened to hear of Aunt Beulah's passing. Unfortunately, distance did not allow us to have a close relationship but throughout the years I was always keenly interested in her and always asked my Aunt Carol to let her know I was thinking of her and sending my love. I spent time with my Aunt Bea on Cape Breton Island and also recently on a trip to Windsor. As little time as there was, I really enjoyed the visits I had with her. I loved her sense of humour, her lovely, kind ways, and the sparkle in her eyes whenever she smiled.
To me, she was a warrior. I think for most of us who live to be 86, we would have lived through life's hardest twists and turns and from what I know of my Aunt Bea, her inner strength and faith took her through the hardest of times.
I believe we will meet again Aunt Beulah in a place where there will be no barriers between us. Sending love, prayers and sympathy to the family and all who loved her.
