Obituary of Earl Forster

Forster, Earl Clifford

87 years.  Passed away on April 18, 2024 with family by his side.  Beloved husband of Irene (nee McLaren).  Loving father to Mark Forster, Wanda (Louis) VanderVeen, Bonnie Hlozan, Deanna (Michael) Peltier.  Step Father to Garry (Joan) Stevenson, Grant Stevenson (Debbie), the late Sherri-lee Stevenson (Kerry), Gavin Stevenson (Allison) and the late Grady Stevenson.  Dear brother to John (Janet) Forster, Grace Forster (Lou), Ray Forster (Karon), Irene and Trian (the late) Spoiola.  Grandfather to Shawn, Brad (Stacey), Paul (Rebecca), Eryka VanderVeen.  Affectionately known as “Buddy” to Irene’s grandkids:  Travis (Vic), Brianne (Andrew), Caroline (Francis), Grace (Thimotey), Cole (Bronwyn), Keenan, Nash, Nolan (Jessica), Karson (Nathan), Brendan (Ashley), Garrett.  Great grandfather to 25 grandchildren.  Earl and Irene were married over 30 years.  They spent 25 years going to Largo, Florida in winters where Earl was a member of the “Belair Bad Boys”.  He Lived a quiet life but enjoyed family and friends.  In earlier years, he loved to go fishing with his best friend John McQueen and performing magic as “The Great Shalamar”.  He was an avid Artist (Painter) and gardener.  He loved taking his son Mark to the Casino for a bit of fun and going to Niagara Falls with Irene who was the love of his life.  Irene and Earl had a true love story.  Both were parents to children with special needs.  He was always there to help anyone with home improvements or just a listening ear.  Earl will be truly missed.  Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue.
