Obituary of Mary Kalapun

KALAPUN, Mary (nee Adam) Passed away peacefully on November 10, 2008 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Wasyl (2006). Loving and cherished mother of Irene Kalapun of Windsor; William (Bill) and wife Agnes of London; predeceased by daughter Lucy (2002). Dear Baba of Freddy, Laurisa, Emma and Liam. Dear sister of Helen Podolinsky and late husband Tony, and predeceased by sister Anna Adam. Mary will be missed by her confirmation daughter Mary Jacko and husband Mike. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois Ave. at Shepherd) for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Rt. Rev. Father Eugene Halitsky officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Sts. Vladimir and Olga Church Building Fund.
