Obituary of Lucille Garbus

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister , aunt and friend Lucille Garbus (nee. Lemire) on April 16, 2024. Reunited in heaven with her loving husband and best friend Gerald Garbus (2019). Beloved mother to Kimberley (PJ), and Jerry (Christine). Cherished grandmother to Taylor, Jerry, and Laura. Great grandmother to Navayah, and Niarobi. Survived by her brother Albert, and her sister Rose. Pre deceased by her 6 brothers and sisters who she now is reunited with. She will deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews and her friends. Mom was an incredible artist and insanely creative. Her works of art and her creativity will be treasured with our family for generations. Her time spent making art with her grandchildren will forever be cherished, and the memories we shared will be carried on to the next generation. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234) on April 23, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 5:00 pm. As per Lucille’s wishes, cremation will take place at a later date. In memory of Lucille, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
