It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfio Golini, on April 3, 2024. Born on January 20, 1926 in Vittorito, Aquila, Italy. Beloved husband of Anna, and predeceased by late wife, Esther Adua Golini (nee Cuzzetto) (1997). Loving father to Marisa Ann Golini (1995). He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his loving daughter, Magda Milejski and son in-law Kamil along with his grandchildren, Szymon and Patryk Milejski of Poland. Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Marsilia Golini. Beloved brother of Diana Bice Fantasia and husband Edward (1997) of Everett, Massachusetts, Fernando and Bianca Golini of Italy, and loving brother in-law of Renata Mis of Poland. Dearest uncle to Rosanna Fantasia, and Rita and Paul Giles of Everett, Massachusetts, Nicola, Giuseppe, and Manola of Italy. Alfio proudly served our community for many years as the host of the Sunday Italian radio program and was a very successful Insurance Broker until his retirement. His passing brings great sadness to his family and his many friends whom are grateful to have had him in their lives for so many years. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Ave., on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 9:15 a.m until 10:15 a.m. then in procession from the funeral home to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Dr., South Windsor) for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Committal Services at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Alfio, memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness or Hospice of Windsor.
