Obituary of Cena Serafimovski
SERAFIMOVSKI, Cena
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cena, our beloved Mom and Baba, on March 10, 2024, at the age of 93. She went to join her loving husband, Mike (Milutin) (2013). Born April 3, 1930, in Vratnica, Macedonia. Cena arrived in Canada with her husband and two sons on July 15, 1969. She is best known as the proprietor of the Cozy Restaurant on Erie St. E. and later the Cadillac Motel on Dougall Ave, where she delighted in cooking her famous breakfasts for hundreds of guests for over 40 years. Cena was preceded in death by her parents Gore and Evka Stojanovski, and her siblings Slave, Gena, and Risto. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Vela) and Tom (Judy). Cherished Baba to Steven (Melissa), Mary, Kristi (Matt), and Natali, and a loving Aunt/Tetka to many nieces and nephews. We are overwhelmed with gratitude to the staff of Sunrise Living LTC in Windsor for providing exceptional care to Mom in her final years, and especially for the love and compassion shown to her in her final days.
