I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Joshua Gillespie, a dear friend who has left an indelible mark on my life. My memories of Josh date back to our childhood days on the west side, where I first looked up to him with admiration. His presence on the basketball court always stood out to me, and his approachable nature made me feel valued and respected. Despite any mistakes he may have made, Josh's humanity and genuine spirit shone through. Our bond grew stronger in 2017 when he expressed his admiration for my achievements and supported me wholeheartedly. Together, we embarked on a journey to start a landscaping company, and our shared success brought us closer together. Josh's protective nature and unwavering support for my growth as an individual will forever be cherished. His generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and his caring nature touched the hearts of all who knew him. Though we may have drifted apart towards the end, the love and connection we shared remained steadfast. Joshua, I would give anything to have you back by my side. Your presence in my life brought joy, inspiration, and a sense of belonging that I will always hold dear. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you. Rest in peace, dear friend.

My Dearest Joshua. The emptiness and and the hole that your passing have left in my heart is astronomical and I cannot comprehend a world without you in it. You were living a life that had control of you and unfortunately you were too tired to fight back. I know you were strong and were fighting the battle with courage and perseverance . At the end you were just tired and broken and want the pain to go away. Well my sweet, sweet boy. Your sorrows and your pain are gone now and the demons you were constantly battling are gone as well. Rest now my boy and take solice and know that we will be watching out for your babies and they will always be reminded of how you loved them. Sleep in and peace and your dad is waiting to embrace you into his loving arms. Take care of each other until I see you again. I love you Boo

Laura,Jamie and Ashley I was so sorry to hear about Josh. My condolences to each of you and your families. Also to Josh's soulmate and children. I am hoping I will be able to attend on Monday to pay my respects but if I'm not able to please know my thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
