Obituary of Douglas Michael Cullen

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Douglas Cullen on February 23rd, 2024. Born July 8th, 1945. He was predeceased by his mother Violet Cullen, son James Cullen (2020), sisters Shirley Leadley (2020), Arlene McGrath (1980), Constance Belanger (1998) and Virginia Cullen (2021). He is survived by brothers Wallace Cullen and wife Isabel, Gary Cullen and wife Dianne and sister Deanna Major and many nieces and nephews. Doug retired from General Motors as a senior auditor of over 25 years. For many years he was an advocate for The Canadian Cancer Society. In his time, he enjoyed hiking and antique hunting and was an avid tennis player. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 from 4-8pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 1st, 2024 from 10-11am until time of service at 11am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest.
