Elaine and family: We are writing to offer our sincerest condolences on learning of the passing of Dennis. We were traveling abroad and were just apprised of and saddened by your loss. We knew Dennis both through professional work and his community activism. To earn Dennis' friendship and respect was a badge of honor. His generosity of spirit, his savvy wisdom and his keen sense of humor would light up a room just like his engaging smile. Every time you talked with Dennis, he would treat you like you were the most important person in his life at that moment. His insights were always interesting, his vision compelling, his actions forthright and true. Though he will be missed, he will be remembered for the many lessons that he taught us in a life well-lived. May his memory be as a blessing for you and for all of us.

I worked with Dennis and Elaine back in the Motor co days. When Dennis decided to change career paths, going to another Credit Union, a couple of us followed. He was a awsome person and a great boss who respected and cared for his fellow co-workers.
