Dear Nick and family I am so sorry for the loss of Kathie. I will always remember Kathie’s laughter and smile. I got to know her from daycare with my children Brandon and Jasmine. I was blessed to be able to work with her at social services. Prayers and thoughts are with you. Lori Morencie

I want to send my deepest condolences and love for Kathie's family and friends. Kathie was a co-worker, as an ECE, and a favourite ECE to both of my boys. She had a heart of gold and the children knew and felt her compassion each and every day. Thank you for sharing your mom with all of us! I feel honoured to have her in my life. Robin Fletcher

I'm so sad to hear of Kathie's passing. I worked alongside Kathie in the infant room as one of her team teachers, and I can honestly say that Kathie was one of the most dedicated, hardworking ECE's that I've had the privilege of working with. Kathie made a point of getting to know each and every family in the classroom, often sharing a wealth of childcare knowledge with them. We chatted often about the pride she had for her boys and the love she held close to her heart for her precious baby daughter. I am including a group pic of Kathie's retirement celebration (hoping no one minds). We all knew you were struggling my friend, and we were so happy to celebrate your graduation to retirement. May your family find comfort in the precious memories they've shared with you. I know that I will truly treasure the memories that we shared. Wendy Murphy

I am so sorry to hear of Kathies passing. She was a very sweet and kind person. I was the Human Resources Coordinator that was in charge of Social Services. She had a zest for life and loved her position as an E.C.E. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends as she had many. Diana Woodman

Oh I can hear her laugh now, her smile.. I worked with Kathie as a ECE and her kindness with the children was amazing. Her creativity in making books for the children was Awesome! She will be sadly missed

I believe when a person that departs from this earth, never truly leave, for they are still alive in our hearts and in our memories, and through us, they live on.
