Obituary of Kosmas Spyridopoulos

Passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Konstantina (nee Petrakis). Loving father of Nea (Mike), Helen (Rick), Ana (Jeff) and Gus. Cherished Papou to Emily (Quinn), Christina, Sophia and Nicholas. Son of the late Konstantino and Parthena Spyridopoulos. Dear brother of Maria of Greece and uncle to Costa of Germany. Will also be missed by his extended family in Greece.

Kosmas loved to keep busy, he was very handy, enjoyed fixing cars and was always there to give a helping hand. Lifelong member of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church. He was also a retiree from Ford Motor Company.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 2-5 and 7-9 with prayers at 7:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 3052 Walker Rd. Windsor, on Thursday February 8, 2024, for the Funeral Service at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Windsor/Essex Humane Society.
