My sincere condolences to Joe, Charmaine, Jeremy, and the entire Taylor and Drouillard families. May your many fond memories keep you going at this most difficult time. God bless you all. She left a wonderful legacey. .. I have been blessed to have known her for 41 years. Together we have shared tears, secrets, but so many more laughs. I will treasure them all. You will be missed. But it seems the Lord had other plans for you. I can see you organizing everyone and cooking up a storm. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

My deepest condolences to the Taylor Family. I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Grace. I was a colleague of hers at MPAC. She was such a kind person. She made you feel like you were her best friend. She would always laugh, smile and make jokes. She was taken away way too soon. My thoughts are with the family at this time.

About Grace: I met her in 1974. We both lived in rural areas and took the bus to Essex High. I was shy on my first school day and knew no one on the bus but she pushed over and offered me a place to sit. We became best friends instantly and we spent a lot of time together. I remember there was a brief period I was having a hard time at home and she talked her mom into letting me live with her and her family. She was such a good friend and always went out of her way to help people. Her passing is something that wasn't really sinking in for me these last few days, however, as I write this so many memories are flooding back and my heart hurts for her and her family, given she left us at such a young age. She meant so much to me and so many others.
In 1983 I moved to British Columbia and she gave me a poem (wording below). Yes, I kept it all this time because it meant so much to me, as did she. I loved her like a sister and I pray she is at peace.

To a very Good Friend - You
I used to wish that I could find a friend, a special one. I dreamed she would be wonderful, I dreamed she would be fun,
I thought of us with jokes to tell and secrets we would share. I knew that when I hurt inside, she would really care,
I dreamed that we would laugh a lot and hardly ever fight, but if we did then both of us would try to make it right,
I used to know a lot of girls but never could I find, this one girl I kept wishing for, the friend inside my mind,
Then you came banging in my life and all I wished came true, I have the friend I dreamed about - You
She wrote on the back: "I hope you enjoy this poem but don't cry too hard" Of course I did cry then and now because I'm going to miss her so much

Dear Joe, Charmaine, Jeremy & family: I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Grace. I have many great memories working closely with Grace at MPAC. From our many phone calls, working assignments together and carpooling trips to Pickering, where we talked and laughed all the way. She was passionate about her job and willing to help whenever the call went out. You could tell she loved her family so much, especially her precious granddaughters. Rest In Peace Grace.

My sincere condolences for the Taylor family's tragic loss. Playing Euchre during breaks at MPAC was a lot of fun with grace as she could get us to the win, and it was especially nice to have her as a friend to talk to in the office. Watching Grace set up her tee on the green with the largest clubs and crush these incredible strikes was so much pleasure to watch during golf tournaments. Over the years, Grace, your contagious personality was valued and appreciated and genuinely loved.
