Wayne and I send our ever so sincere condolences to the whole Rivait family, especially Aunt Joan. Uncle Leo was loved and respected by so very many. We truly enjoyed our many, many visits either in Tecumseh or at our homes on Buckhorn Lake or in Tillsonburg. Wayne was so pleased to take Uncle Leo to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope and to a Snowbirds Airshow and the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association hangar in Tillsonburg. That put a big smile on his face. He is a big part of so many of our treasured memories.

Thoughts of Uncle Leo have always brought a smile and his calm and curious way will be missed by many, including our two kids who were lucky enough to spend time with him. Lots of love and hugs to Aunt Joan, his children and their families at this time.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of your dear dad, Leo Rivait. We never had the opportunity or the privilege of meeting this incredible man, husband, father and friend. But, from the many stories and testimonies, he has no doubt lived a life worthy of everyone’s admiration. Our hearts go out to the entire family, as you all continue your own journey in his memory. His tenderness and kind heart made it easy to all who were lucky to know this dear man. Dad our hearts are broken but we know, as you taught us, there are many things in life that are difficult but Faith will get you through it.
