Obituary of Pietro Moro

Pietro was called home on January 17th 2024 with family by his side at the age of 91. Beloved husband to Bruna. Proud father of Laura and Luisa. Dear brother to Maria (Mario). Pietro will be reunited with his parents Luigi and Emma, sister Pia and brother-in-law Pietro, and brother Franco (Rina). He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pietro retired after over 30 years of service at the Ford Motor Company, and enjoyed tending to his garden at home. He was devoted to his faith, and was active within St Angela Merici Church for many years as a member of the choir. His passion for music and singing led him to be a founding member of the Italian Men's Choir, as well. Pietro also belonged to the Fogolar Furlan club.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday January 23rd, 2024 from 2PM-4PM and 7PM-9PM at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Windsor). A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday January 24th, 2024 at 11AM at St Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave). Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave. Windsor). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Transition 2 Betterness Foundation or St Angela Merici Church.
