LADOUCEUR-William (Bill)

Passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 75 years. Loving husband of Sandy (Nee Sharpe) for 54 years, dear father of Corey (Martha). Predeceased by son Chris (2004). Dear brother of Tom (late Norma), Bob, late Gary (Louise) and Dan Ladouceur. Predeceased by his parents Francis (1992) and Jeanne (1988). Cherished and loved Papa and Grandpa to Ashlyn, Melia, Tahnee, Dylan, Raighlyn, Andrzej. Dear brother-in-law to Michael, late Jim, Clarence, late Bill, Pat, Bob (Janet). Dear father-in-law to Kelly (Scott). Dear godfather to John, Christine, Renee, Tracey, Tim and Lisa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bill worked for Corporate Office of Home Hardware Stores Limited for many years in the Education Dept and as Manager of Dealer Operations for the Home Furniture Division and then Special Projects in Home Hardware Retail Operations. Prior to working at Head office he was the former owner of Home Furniture in Belle River for many years. In his former career he was a licensed Funeral Director in the Province of Ontario working with funeral homes in Tilbury, Belle River and Ottawa. Bill was a proud volunteer at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre for 10 years with his most recent recognition being the 2022 "Community Chairman Award" by the Regional Cancer Program. He loved his sports especially playing Baseball, Golf and Volleyball.

Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. (519)253-7235 on Friday January 19, 2024 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral services on Saturday January 20, 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel. Interment to follow at St. Simon and Jude Cemetery in Belle River. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and Hospice of Windsor will be appreciated.
