Obituary of Rustam Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rustam Thomas at the age of 92. Reunited with the love of his life, Marina (2020) after 61 years of marriage. Cherished and loved Dad of Eiman Overholt and Dianne Ropat (Mike). Adored Jidu to grandchildren Dylan, Dayne (Lynda), Dalys, Jordynne, Jesse, and Parys (Jessie). Great Grandfather to Oshae, Nova, Jenayah, Jayonah, Lyam, Jessie, Jayla, Jesiah, Tiffani, and Lawrence. Predeceased by siblings Antoinette, Tony, Stella, and Shafik. Rustam loved his family and devoted his life to them. Rustam was loved by everyone. Rustam held many different jobs, including a pilot in Iraq for 13 years, and Ford Motor Company for 27 years. After his retirement, he worked for Laidlaw Bus Company driving a school bus. He loved playing cards and socializing with family and friends. Rustam was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus (Assembly #1789).
