Obituary of Beverly Pocock
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly Pocock on January 4, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Reunited with her loving husband Thomas (1994). Beloved mother to Christine (Randy) Cookson, Thomas A., Timothy, and Karen (late Frank) Cournoyea. Cherished grandma to Matthew, Mandy, Katie, Joe, John, Natasha, and Thomas. Great-grandmother to Logan, Ender, Grayson, Marshall, Forrest, and Jameson. Survived by brothers Robert (Bernadette) Meloche, and Floyd (late Annette) Meloche. Pre deceased by sisters Florence (2008), Rita (1989), Margaret (1989), and brother Lawrence (2014). Beverly will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Mom was an avid crafter, she loved to knit and sew with her family and she always made sure to make things for us kids to keep us warm. She would love playing cards with the family on Friday nights. Above all else mom made sure her family was her number one priority. A special thank you to all the staff and care givers at Windsor Regional Ouellette Campus, especially the ER team and the team on 2 North for their wonderful care and compassion, and to all of her PSW’s for their care over the years for Mom. A memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234, on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Beverly, donations can be made to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society.
