Obituary of Franco Pellarin
Passed away suddenly on January 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Pellarin (nee Polegato) (2000) Dear father of Mary (Mike) and Bernadette (Blaise). Cherished Nonno of Sophia and Isabella. Long time partner of Clara Bortolin. Franco is survived by his siblings Dino (Lori), Dennis (Beth) and Lucy (Paul) and many nieces, nephews , cousins and friends. Welcoming him to heaven are his parents Albino (1997) and Serena (Bianca) Lovisa (2021).
Franco retired from Chrysler Canada. He was an active member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. He served many years as an usher at St. Angela Merici Parish. Franco was also an active long time member of the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree) for years and held a number of positions on the executive and was a former member of the Honour Guard, for the Dean Wagner Assembly #862. He was proud to serve God in any way he could. Franco was an avid Toronto Maple leaf fan, he rarely missed a game.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral Service on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
