Obituary of Esterina Liva

LIVA, Esterina,

Passed away just two days prior to her birthday (December 1st, 2023) at the age of 88 years. The loving widow of Angelo Liva (April 25th, 2013), mother of Paolo Liva, Gloria Mann and husband John, and Gianna Gallant and husband David. Cherished Nonna of Kerra Quennell and husband Darren, Matthew, Emily and Zachary. Sister of the late Ernea and survived by sister Aristea and many family members in Italy. Esterina was a proud parishioner of St. Angela Merici Church, a dedicated worker for over thirty years at the Fogolar Furlan and member of the Fogolar Women’s Association. Esterina loved gardening, cooking and above all her family.

(519-253-7234) on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then in procession to St. Angela Merici church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Esterina’s life, memorial donations may be made to ALS Canada or Lung Health Foundation.
