Obituary of Louis Lessard
Passed away peacefully with family surrounded by his side at home on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 at the age of 81 years. Devoted Husband to Elaine Lessard with whom shared 61 years of marriage. Dear Father to Christine Fillion (Duffy) (the late Willy Fillion), and Dave (Lynette) Lessard. Loving Grandfather to David, Shane (Kerri), Larissa, and Dani (Dennis). Adored Great Grandfather to AJ, Emma, Lincoln, and Willa. Dear Son of the late Alfred (1989) and Evelyn Lessard (McNorton) (2005). Dear Brother of Edward (late Beatrice), Leo (the late Vicky), Yvonne (the late Lawrence) Barrette, Fred Jr, Patricia (George) Krakana, and Dolores. Dear Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews. Louis is reunited with his fur companion Bandit.
Louis (Ted) was retired from the City of Windsor (Public Works) after 30 years of service. Louis thoroughly enjoyed working the farm with his Father. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He loved spending time with his family, and tending to his yard.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made in Louis’ honour to The Hospice of Windsor-Essex.
Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7235 on Friday, November 17th, 2023 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Prayers at 8pm. Cremation to follow.
