Obituary of Iolanda Modiga

Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 11, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife and best friend of 50 years to Mike. Loving mother to Linda (George) and Aniela (Alex). Cherished Babi to Andrew, Summer and Sebastian. Will be missed by her loving circle of friends. Iolanda loved everything to do with beauty, especially by planting flowers, decorating her home, having a passion for dancing and listening to music. Her radiance, joy and love will be cherished forever and never forgotten. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 12:00 noon until the funeral procession at 1:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Ste. Anne’s Parish, 12233 Tecumseh Rd. E., starting at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the WRH - Cancer Centre.
