Sandy and I were deeply saddened to read of George’s (Weldu) death. We didn’t see the death notice until today. He always referred to himself as George when working with us. George lovingly cared for our garden on Pierre Avenue for many years. First with Lex Kraft and then after when he took over the company. We loved George. He was a kind and gentle man. He was reliable, honest, hardworking, and a loving father and husband. He spoke with an immeasurable depth of love and respect and pride in his daughters. He was working for us when his daughter completed her doctorate in podiatry and was making plans to travel for her graduation. We missed him after he decided to close his business because of his health. I tried to contact him several times to see how he was doing but neither the phone calls nor the text messages were answered. We extend our deepest, heartfelt condolences to his wife, Brhan, and his daughters Azieb, Aden, and Eleni. He loved you intensely and wanted the best for you in education, in life, in work, and in family. Such a profound loss in your lives. We are so sorry.
