Obituary of Helen Virginia LaJoy (Gauthier)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at the age of 83 years. Beloved Wife of the late Robert LaJoy (2022) for 66 wonderful years. Dear and loving Mother to Robert (Suzette Araneta), Kevin (Janice Soucie Black), Darlene, the late Wayne (1963) and James (Nancy). Loving Mimi to Wayne, Kristy, Michelle, Jake, Kyle, Adam, Dane, and Steele. Cherished Great Mimi to Ryan, Shane, Lucas, Nathan, Todd, Rylee, George-Ann, and Tessa. Survived by siblings Andrea and Lillian. Helen loved spending time with her family and traveling. She loved playing Bingo, crocheting, knitting, and having family gatherings. Helen was an amazing cook, and her meals will be dearly missed. She loved working at Gauthier Roofing Inc. with her Brother Bernard and Sister Alice. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Road E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Anne’s Parish 12233 Tecumseh Road E. on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at 11am. With interment to follow at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery.
