Obituary of Gary Joncas

Born on January 12th, 1952 to parents Arthur and Rose Joncas and passed on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of 51 years to Patricia Joncas (Nee Stiers). Cherished father to Sean (Dawn-Joy), Melissa Mills (Jason), Gary Jr. (Crystal), Michelle and Ashley. Proud Pipi of 17 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Lou-Ann Joncas (Laforet). Cherished brother in law to Larry Stiers (Mary), Betty Bertrand (Bob), Sandra Porter, Susan Grubb, Diane Olijnyk (George), Wanda Cahill (Rob), Jimmy Stiers, Johnny Stiers, Chris Amond, Matt Czap, Vincent Stiers, Donald Middlemore and Robbie. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Gary was a hard-working family oriented man, and a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

The family would like to thank everyone involved in caring for Gary, and for all of their support in their time of need, may God Bless. At Gary’s request, cremation and a private family service have taken place.
