Obituary of Cheryl Jobin-Pancerny

Jobin-Pancerny- Cheryl 
Passed away on October 11, 2023 after a courageous 9 1/2 year battle with Pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones who will continue her legacy by living their lives with courage, love and laughter. Her family, her dogs, her home and garden brought her great joy. She was a wonderful story teller and would often poke fun at herself whether heroine or instigator. 
Cheryl graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Micro Biology, became a TA while pursuing her  Master degree in Micro Biology. She worked for 2 years in the lab for Jamieson Pharmaceuticals, then left to pursue a Medical Lab Tech degree at  St. Clair College.  She worked in medical field at Grace Hospital then left to begin her career with Hiram Walker in the main lab. During her years at Hiram Walker she was able to work with the Absolut Company Research team working on new product development projects a position she adored with people she loved working with.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Ron Pancerny;  her two sons Ryan and Brandon, her stepson, Michael (Janet). Predeceased by stepdaughters Jennifer and Kristina. Cheryl was the daughter-in-law of the late George and Mary Pancerny. Dear sister-in-law of Theresa Dietrich and late John Pancerny. Dear daughter of Leonard Jobin (late Bernice); Dear brother, Len (Heather); a sister Laura (Barry); and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by several dear friends and extended family. Special thanks to Dr. S. Misra and Dr M. Hanson and Nurses and Staff at Met Hospital who went over and beyond expectations to care for Cheryl and our family. As per Cheryl’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday October 15, 2023 from 2 to 5pm at the Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7235.
