Mary Parisotto After a brief and courageous battle with illness, Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday October 7, 2023 at the age of 85. She was born on February 9, 1938 in Sudbury, Ontario. Loving wife of 67 years and best friend of Reno Parisotto. Beloved mother of Dana Straus and Dean Parisotto. Adored “Nanna” to Andrew Straus (Elizabeth) and Aaron Straus (Jennifer). Proudest Great grandmother “Nanna” to Eleanor Straus and Franklin Straus. Much loved daughter of the late John and Barbara Bercik and daughter in law to the late Allessandro and Maria Parisotto. Dear sister to Anne Luck and sister-in-law to Eugene Parisotto, Gino Parisotto and the late Bruno Parisotto (Helen). Dear aunt to Darren Luck, Marla Comeau (Jim), Rebecca Hafekost (Gord), Raechel White (Terry), Marie Parisotto, Nick Parisotto (Lorraine), Nicole Lawrie (Bob), Gina Parisotto. Dear great aunt to Sydney, Jack, Spencer, Carter, Taylor, Scott, Jessica, Jason, Michele, Edward, Stephen, Jacob, Conner, Brooke, Brett, Dylan and Kate. Loved by many cousins, neighbours and friends. Long time friends Rose, Roy, Angie, Mel, Isabel, Zolie, Mary, George, Mary and Arnold. Mary was a very successful real estate agent for 22 years. Her proudest streak was being top agent for 5 consecutive months. After retiring from real estate, Mary and her sister Anne Luck were successful owners of The Sassy Cats ladies boutique. Mary’s positive attitude influenced many that knew her. Her warmth, generosity, hospitality, kindness and strength touched all that knew her. She loved her flower garden, traveling, family gatherings and her pastries. If you so desire in lieu of flowers donations to Windsor Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be on Thursday October 12th 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm with prayer service on Friday October 13 at 10 am at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Location 1700 Tecumseh Road East. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery
