I can still hear the clear thrill in Ruth's laughter!
I know she loved Jesus because I experienced His love flowing through her. One experence was this....I came from a family of eight and not many people were led to have us over for a meal. Ruth and Clayt, (called them aunt and uncle) when they had us over had a great meal AND a party! Planned games and such fun. On that night, Ruth also showed us her newly professionally decorated bedroom. Fancy flower wallpaper on every wall! She was so delighted in the outcome.
But what I remembered most, was Ruth's encouragement when I did really well at this particular mirror game. She was amazed at how well I did. Somehow, at that time in my life, I deeply needed that encouragement. I am crying now as I am still touched today by even a seemingly small taste of the perfect love of Jesus through Ruth, an imperfect vessel, but in love with her Master, who she is now with!
May the peace of God's love fill your hearts and minds, Jean and John, as you remember your mom!❤ Deb Cameron
