Sandra Jean Meilleur (nee Downie)

June 15, 1941 - October 9, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sandra at 82 years, surrounded by family. Survived by her husband Ronald Keith of 31 years. Predeceased by her parents Jean and George Downie. Loving mother to Brenda, Chris (Trudy), Renee Pare (Darryl) and Pamela Arundine (Claudio). Cherished Grandma to Colin, Jordan, Trevor, Megan, Jessie, Jordan, Jaiden, Jacob, Taylor, Darien, Ashton, Cruz, Nico and Noah. She will be missed by her 5 siblings, Sharon, Michelle, Rob, Mickey and Kim, as well as extended family, and friends.

Sandra worked as a bookkeeper most of her career, and after going back to college at age 40, earned a Journalism degree, and thrived at her most exciting position with the Ex Terra Dinosaur Project. Once retired, she followed her passions of gardening, photography, bird watching, reading, ancestry, painting, RVing, and being a doting grandma.

Visitation to be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre in her memory.
