Obituary of Giovanni Zanutto

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89 on September 28, 2023. Beloved husband of 57 years to Victoria (nee Bottoset). Cherished father of Kelly Stanley and Terry (Lynn). Proud Nonno of Evan, Alyssa, Tyler and Trevor. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Marianna, sister Iole, and brothers Antonio and Pietro. Survived by his sisters Carla, Vanna, Claudia, Teresa and Pina all of Italy. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Giovanni was a proud member of the Caboto Club for over 55 years. He retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. In his retirement, Giovanni enjoyed making wine, gardening, bocce ball and playing cards, but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family. The family would like to thank the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus, especially the nurses and doctors on floor 8 for all their dedicated care and compassion. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 2:00 pm until time of Chapel Service at 4:00 pm.
