Obituary of Maurice Raymond Roussell

ROUSSELL- Maurice 

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of 90 yr. old Maurice Raymond Roussell.
Husband to Evelyn, his dear late wife whom he will now rejoin; Father to Lori Ann and the late
Jeffery Paul Roussell. Maurice (Moe) was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters. He
leaves to mourn his daughter Lori Roussell, his sister-in-law’s; Ollie Shewchuk, Josie Holigrosky
and Bernice Zapatosky (Jim Habing). Moe was an amazing uncle, leaving to mourn Sandy, Rick,
Greg, Lynne, Bryan, Douglas, Darci, Cathy (God-daughter) and many other nieces and nephews
on the Roussell side of a large family.
Maurice was born on July 10, 1933 in Windsor ON. He met the love of his life, Evelyn who
moved to Windsor in 1957. They were married in 1959 and together celebrated 63yrs of
marriage. Maurice worked for Union Gas until he retired. Both he and Evelyn enjoyed their
retirement for 22years in Florida. He is now at peace and will be long remembered by many.
Private services will take place on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, with burial to follow at Heavenly
