Obituary of Allan Wilfred Quick

Passed away on August 21, 2023.  Loving Son of the late Wilfred Quick (1993) and the late Norien Dalrymple (2022).  Dear brother to Joyce Hayward (Ken) of Ottawa.  Uncle to Carolyn (Alan) of Ottawa, Heather (Paul) of Kingston and Mark (Sarah) of Ottawa.  He will be missed by his Uncle Bruce Dix and Beverley of Windsor.  Fondly remembered by many cousins, extended family and friends.  Allan grew up in Windsor and left at graduation to a career as an IT Manager in Toronto.  He came back to Windsor when he retired.  He became involved in his condo board and enjoyed this until the end of last year.  He developed close relationships with his neighbours and enjoyed coffee runs to Tim Hortons and the monthly dinners.  Allan enjoyed vacationing with his Windsor family to Disney and many cruises to Hawaii and the Caribbean.  He loved Dr. Who, hockey and talking football with his Uncle Bruce.  Cremation has taken place followed by a private family interment.  If you so desire, donations may be made to South Windsor Salvation Army and the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with Allan’s family at www.windsorchapel.com.
