Obituary of Terry DeLisle
Terrance “Terry” Harry DeLisle
Passed away peacefully following a brief illness surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80 years old. Reunited with his wife Ella (née Cormier) of 49 years. Terry is also reunited with his parents Ernest & Dorothy (née Charette), parents-in-law Henri & Florida (Cormier) as well as his siblings Gerry, Bob, Judy, Sherie and survived by his sister Geraldine. Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law Florida (Lionel), Carmelle (John), Mary Lou (Paul). Loving Father of Monique Anger (Tim), Louise Jones, Caroline Klaas (Bruce), and Justin DeLisle (Rose). Beloved Pépé to Daniel, Kirk, Kenny, Bradley, Curtis, Chad, Leah (d.1996), Patrick, Aaron, Tyler, Spencer, and Zachary. Caring uncle to many nephews and nieces. Terry will be missed by his fur-grandbaby Nugget.
Terry served in the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment of Canada) in Canada and in Continental Europe. Following his honourable discharge from the Army, Terry retired from Ford Canada. Terry was a member of the Deep Bay Hunt Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261 for many years. Terry enjoyed golf and hockey, especially his beloved Windsor Spitfires. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home Banwell Chapel on Friday August 18th, 2023 from 2-3PM with a chapel service at 3PM. Cremation to follow.
