Obituary of Hazel Pauline Kirby

KIRBY, Hazel Pauline (nee Curtis)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 15, 2023 in Windsor, ON at the age of 88 years. In her passing, Hazel is reunited with her beloved husband Rev. Glynell Franklin Kirby (2007). Beloved Mother of Glynell Franklin Kirby Jr. (Debbie), Sheryl Dawn Jennings (Rocky), and Susan Lynn Bjorkman (Nels). Cherished Grandmother of Sarah Kirby, Andy Kirby (Stephanie), Tommy Skinner (Shauna), Rebekah Schinkel (Bjorkman) (Mitchell), the late Zachary Bjorkman (2022), and Emily Bjorkman. Beloved sister to Paul Curtis and the late Connie Ziglar. Predeceased by her parents Lonnie and Gertie Curtis Hazel will also be lovingly remembered by her 10 Great Grandchildren and all extended family and friends. Hazel, along with her late husband Glynell, pastored churches within the Church of God in both Canada and the U.S.A. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (South) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7236 on Friday evening, August 18, 2023 from 6-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Parkwood Gospel Church (3005 Temple Dr.) from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
